Johnny Depp, an artist with a sensitive, pure, beautiful soul, seems to float through every corner of this exhibition. His paintings, couches, chairs, bookshelves, drawing tables, canvases, thousands of paints, brushes, guitars, . . . . his knickknacks . . . . everything was there. It felt like walking through his life and journey, deep inside his heart and mind.
You’ll notice that most of his artworks don’t have his signature. They were meant only for him, which gives them an intimate and powerful presence.
I felt a little guilty, like being a piece of the confetti that was choking him, but I hope he will have many more moments to celebrate “happiness” with confetti. So, please stay healthy, eat well, and live a long life, JD!
I’ll attach some photos I took here and add more when the exhibition closes. You really have to experience it in person to feel the special moment he shared with us.
Thank you, JD. And thank you to the man he referred to as “this man” at the press conferences, who did the treasure hunt in his garage.
Emi
PS: By the way, we need JD’s fonts. I love his handwriting.

My Zippy is happy to have a new friend, Mooh!
